Seek the following input from stakeholders and the community on the conduct of Category 1 events and permitting events that attract participants from outside Queensland, in particular in regard to: 1. the acceptance or otherwise of any additional risk as a result of holding larger events; 2. the conditions under which individuals or organisations feel would be suitable to hold larger events or to attract interstate or overseas visitors; and 3. the concerns in regard to the social and economic impact of holding, or not holding, larger Category 1 events. and the results of this consultation be reported to the April round of meetings. F. Undertake a further review of its Event Policy should there be a significant change to the State’s event framework. Amendment No. 1
