    That Council note the report by the Strategic Planner to the Planning & Environment Committee Meeting dated 12 July 2016 and endorse the “Draft Extractive Resources and Minerals Planning Study 2016” provided at Attachment 1 for the purpose of informing the new Planning Scheme with the following changes: A. Page 15 - Ringtail Creek Quarry: delete the reference to the concrete batching plant and delete the “Approvals and Permits” paragraph; B. Page 19 - KRA 57: change the second sentence under “Recommendation” to read, “The site may meet future local demand for quarry rock”; C. Page 21 - Nandroya: further investigate the “Status” to determine the future use of the site and incorporate that information into the Study document; D. Page 24 - White Pit: under "Approvals and Permits" change the second paragraph to read "Preliminary discussions have occurred between CSR and Council officers although CSR have yet to make a formal determination for this site. CSR has made representations to the State Government to expand the Urban Footprint with the aim to potentially fill these sites for development of approximately 200 urban residential lots." E. P23 - McGilchrist's Pits: Under "Approvals and Permits" change the sentence "CSR are seeking to include their other site - White Pits in the Urban footprint and use the extracted material from 300 Kennedy's Road to fill the site." to "CSR are seeking to include their other site - White Pits in the Urban footprint. They have an existing permit to extract material from McGilchrist's Pits to use as fill at the White Pit site."
